About Us

With a network of 1,780+ volunteer providers and support from the region’s major health care systems, Project Access Northwest helps the most vulnerable members of our community receive the specialty medical care they need. In our two core programs, we match prescreened patients with volunteer specialty providers to deliver life-changing care, and pay health insurance premiums for those unable to afford coverage on their own. We offer our Care Coordination services in King, Snohomish and Kitsap counties, while Premium Assistance serves residents across Washington state.

In 2021, we took our annual fundraising event STRIKE Down Barriers to Health Care! online for the second year in a row, thanks to the creative efforts of our event committee, technical expertise from #SeattleLives and the unwavering support of our sponsors. With support from all our sponsors and individual donors, we raised $107,000—raising enough to serve more than 300 patients! *
